heyas! haha.. havent really found the time to update cuz of THE WORLD CUP SEASON!! hahaha!! if im gonna screw up my mid yrs this is probably the reason=p madness.. its so damn addictive.. can just sit down there and watch match after match no matter how boring it is.. haha and of cuz the betting part=p the guys are just crazy over betting and i hope i dont get influenced=p so far what i've learned though is to bet on the opposite team of whichever auggy bets on.. haha that fella damn blady suay lah.. everything he bets on he loses.. haha!! so yeah it's safer to bet on the opposite team from him no matter how unlikely it is.. hahaha!! at the rate he's going brazil is going down man.. they can forget bout winning the world cup.. think singapore can probably win the next one in 4 yrs time lah! sercet weapon----->auggy haha!! k enough bout the world cup lah.. haha.. shall talk a little bout the camp i went to.. it was called camp jerimiah.. hmmmm well it was quite a fruitful camp if you ask me.. it all started off on the wrong note as zac and myself went there feeling damn sian about the camp.. zac even suggested screwing the damn camp and go malaysia.. haha but my passport is expired!!! but thats not the point zac was being a dick=p hahaha!! so well yeah.. i met zac in the morning for breakfast at macdonald's.. i ended up reaching really late cuz i missed my stop and had to cross the road and take a the bus backwards.. haha.. dunno what was wrong with me.. probably distracted by.... well k you dont need to know=p slpt at 3 plus that morning and yeah was really stone.. haha.. like you know.. our plans was just to try out for one day and see how it goes before deciding if we'll stay.. come on lah.. 17 people?? who would have thought this camp would be any fun.. haha.. well it wasnt exactly fun but well it was really beneficial lah.. so anywayss.. haha we were supposed to be there by 9 but well at 9 we were still and macs (zac happily making full use of his free flow tea) and yeah so i called jon to access the situation there.. haha he said there's 3 poeple here.. myself and my 2 other friends..-_-''.. yeah exactly!! wth lah.. haha.. so i was like errrr ookkkaayyy?? well then i guess we're not going yet i'll see you later.. haha!! k so we took our time and left round 9.20=p the lady called zac to find out where we were lah and zac crapped something bout us being lost.. haha.. had a feeling she was gonna call me too, so i turned my phone off.. well yeah so we reached there round 9.40?? 40 mins late leh but guess what.. it wasnt that bad..haha.. they havent started and everyone was like just sitting in a circle stonning.. almost died lah.. such a stupid atmosphere.. haha k so that set the mood for basically half of the camp.. the '' ice breakers'' were totally useless as they used the conventional games and everyone was not even half defrosted when we were done.. haha.. k anyway yeah checked my phone after that and someone really made my day.. nvr thought it would tun out that way=) hmmmm.. k so we went back to the dorm and changed into something cooler before proceeding with our activities.. watched a video of jerimiah first and laid the foundation to the camp.. then yeah we were made to do a life-line of something.. this that shaped our lives.. haha nice was an idiot lah.. the camp facils were kinda pissed off with him.. could see the *will you just shut up* kinda look on their faces.. haha cuz before that the rules were no making fun.listen attentively and dont comment when everyone's sharing.. hmmm yeah so nick dint know.. he came in and started making fun of zac and myself.. haha! we were alright with it lah i mean we know its a joke.. the facils were like too serious for me.. and yeah we had to stay in that group for all sharings.. i got really sian of our facils cuz they really sucked lah.. they somehow dint make us feel like sharing.. for one they cant share for nuts and what they share is not relevant at all lah.. haha.. and yeah i remember once they asked us for one thing we would like to bring when we go on a mission trip.. so i said i would like to bring a friend.. that stupid guy said cannot! must bring a physical thing.. then i was like a friend is a physical thing what.. walau i wanna bring a friend who are you to say cannot.. i mean its a sharing what where got right or wrong one.. haha.. so yeah can see what a prick our facil was.. everytime its time for sharing our members will just look at each other with the sian face and smile.. haha.. our group is always the fastest to finish lah!! and it will just be awkward silence till we regroup.. the food really sucked lah!! i remember lunch on the first day was disgusting and woah so was dinner.. i really couldnt force myself to eat that.. it looks like dog food pls.. i just took one mouth and i threw the rest away.. so yeah gave a feedback that the food needs to be improved on to my facil and miraculously the food did improve.. haha even zac was like woah so fast the food improve ready ar.. haha.. okay.. yeah day one was quite boring lah with captains ball and dog and bone.. really conventional games.. hmmm at the end of day one my phone batt died!! hahaha.. was really worried and i really needed to message someone and i knew i couldnt tahan not doing so for 3 days..haha.. yeah so i asked my dad to drop off my charger the next day.. yay! saviour... haha!! hmmm yeah so could then message freely without constantly switching my phone off to save batt.. haha.. hmmm k so more bout the camp.. it was really intense spiritual and during the duration of the camp many people cried.. including guys!! haha goes to show just how spiritual.. hmmm the praise and worships were not really good lah.. they dint really have the feeling in it.. they like talk too much in between and for one, we dint know like almost all the songs with an exception of one or two mass songs.. haha.. yeah so had to learn them on the spot.. everyone wasnt enthu bout it.. at least the first 2 days where we dint know each other well yet..haha.. yeah but things improved as we hit the third day.. hmmm dint really find this camp impressive.. found the confirmation camp with LC more fun and happening.. zac disagrees lah but ohwells.. haha.. i would say both camps have different aims and are good in their own ways.. this one was to train leaders and well yeah they had to lay the foundations for us by going through all these intense spirituals to deepen our faith and all.. and the LC confirmation camp was just to bond the youths in St Stephens so all it needed was more of the fun element.. hmmmm.. overall i found camp jerimiah really good in helping everyone get in touch with themselves and and god.. afterall how are you going to be a leader if you yourself are not certain of yourself and god.. haha well that was the good thing about the camp.. the other representatives were already leaders lah and me and zac were the few who are there just for experience.. yeah haha so we kinda dint take it as seriously as the rest=p we're the last to arrive and last to wake up.. kinda gave a bad impression lah but who cares.. haha.. we weren't as open and fr fred came to speak to us after the session on day one.. haha!! after that well we started to open more.. its not that we arent open just that we;re not used to it cuz the way they did it was k whenever you're ready just say it out loud.. yeah so much as you wanna say you'll be like wait for the rest lah wait 2 people wanna say at the same time then jia lat so malu then wait you forget everything.. haha! hmmm yeah so there was quite alot of awkward silences during this kinda mass sharing.. gotta say that the atmosphere they created for us to reflect and all was great.. light misic.. candles.. quite good lah.. the last day was the most beneficial where they had all the talks.. haha was really interesting.. a workshop on youths and how to understand them.. hmmm i forced myself to stay awake for the first 3 which were like an hr each lah.. haha! yeah couldn't take the last one and a few of us just went up to the dorm to sleep=p hmmm.. yeah so that was kinda how it ended lah.. a bbq after that and a performance by jon's band.. they were really good with the 2 shredders jon and mark.. haha.. hmmm yeah so that was about it.. hmmm yeah went over to zac's place after that to watch the world cup.. that was how i got started lah! haha.. watching alot of matches now..hmmm think after the endland-paraguay match we went over to aloys place to catch the 12 o'clock match.. sweden and trinadad.. it was a real exciting one even though it was 0-0.. sweden were just unlucky lah cuz trinadad;s keep was a freaking on form.. stopping everything that came his way.. haha.. trinadad almost sneaked one in but wasted it hit the crossbar.. haha.. hmmm yeah woke up the next day after just a few hrs of slp to go church.. slpt really little since tuesday lah.. tuesday slpt at 3 plus and woke up at 7 then during the camp round 1-2 plus and waking up a 7 then soccer till 2 plus everyday.. haha!! hmmm yeah so anyway had soccer training on sunday.. it rained and kwah kim song or however you spell it dint wanna train us so we went over to the old ijtp field to train.. the drills were good lah but the 2-sided really showed me the team isnt exactly ready for the catholeague.. so much more to improve.. people hold on the the ball too much and somehow just cant look up to see where each other is.. hmmm hope we have another week to fine tune ourselves if not means the league will start next wk.. haha.. ohwells.. we should be quite safe against hfc youths.. but still! cant afford to be complacent.. after all ssfc only beat them 2-0 last yr despite them having almost the whole team small kids.. haha.. well yeah hope we can get far lah.. players have been quite serious and all..will be disappointing if we under perform cuz we really do have some talent.. k all the best to LC whites then.. k off to meet zac and fonz to study.. haha kinda desperate already.. decided not to go for my track chalet today cuz i think i really need to start on my work.. dint realise my exams start next week until brendan pointed it out yesterday=p haha!! so yeah.. got a feeling im gonna flunk my mid yrs but at least study so i dont fluck so badly.. haha!! if i dont get promoted this yr i'll probably go to the poly lah.. haha kinda feel like im not cut out for this kinda life cuz i cant constantly study=p haha.. bad habit of last min work.. alright gonna end here.. cya ~*~*~*~*~*~ |
